This 3 bedroom apartment is located in the 5th arrondissement, also known as the Latin Quarter. It's the historic heart of the city, renowned for its university - the Sorbonne, its winding streets, its lively atmosphere and café culture. The rue Mouffetard, one of Paris's oldest streets is a minute away and offers a daily fruit and vegetable market, cheese and wine shops, restaurants and traditional market cafés. Other famous attractions and monuments are only a short walk away including The Pantheon, The Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, St Michel and St Germain des Pres. The nearest métro is a 3 minute walk at Censier Daubenton.

The apartment is on the third floor (with lift) and sleeps 6 in two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and an extra bed in the dining area, there's one bathroom, a shower room and a separate loo. The decoration is in traditional French style, there's parquet flooring throughout.

The living area (21ft6 x 11ft6, 6.5m x 3.5m ) has a large sofa, a futon, 2 armchairs and a coffee table. A decorative fireplace boasts a large 16th century mirror above its mantelpiece.


There's a TV (English speaking CNN, BBC) + DVD player and a CD player. There's also high speed internet access.

The dining/study area (21ft6 x 11ft6, 6.5m x 3.5) has a dining table that seats 6, a library, a coffee table and a bed that doubles as a sofa.


The kitchen has all the expected appliances including a washer dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, blender, kettle and toaster. There's a small breakfast table that seats 3.

The first bedroom (21ft6 x 11ft6, 6.5m x 3.5m) has two single beds that can be pushed together to make a double. There is a decorative fireplace with 16th century mirror, an antique armchair, an antique wardrobe, a desk and chair and a piano - which you are welcome to play.

The second bedroom (17ft x 13fr, 5.2m x 4.0m) has a large double bed (5ft6, 1.7m wide), 2 bedside tables and reading lamps, an oriental chair and ample cupboard space.

The third bedroom (17ft x 9ft10, 5.2m x 3.0m) has a single tier bunk bed with a integrated desk - ideal for a child or teenager. There is also a comfortable butterfly chair, shelving and a reading lamp.



The second and third bedroom and also the kitchen benefit from views onto a calm private garden.

The bathroom has a small bathtub, a handheld overhead shower and a wash basin. There is a second shower room at the end of the hall with a walk-in shower cubicle and a wash basin. The loo is separate.

The area has several traditional French markets including rue Moffetard (every day), and place Monge (twice a week). There is also an abundance of restaurants to choose from. Try Mavrommatis (42 rue Daubenton), arguably the best Greek restaurant in Paris or Marty (20 avenue des Gobelins) - French cuisine. There's also Le Languedoc (64 boulevard de Port-Royal) specialising in dishes from south-west France.
