Several attractions are only a short walk, including the Champs Elysées (10 minutes), the famous shops of the boulevard Haussmann (10 minutes), and the Parc Monceau, one of Paris's most ornate parks. Despite its central location, the area around the rue du Lisbonne has kept its village atmosphere and remains peaceful and quiet. The nearest métros are St Augustin, Villiers and Miromesnil, all found within five minutes walk.

The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor (with lift) of a Haussmann style building and sleeps 6 people in 2 double bedrooms and a large fold out sofa bed in the living area. It has been recently renovated to a high standard and boasts high ceilings and floods of light.

You enter directly into a large living/ kitchen/dining area (23ft x 18ft6, 7m x 5.65m). Decoration has been kept to a minimum to accentuate the sense of space and cleanliness.


You will find a large sofa that also folds out into a bed (5ft wide) as well as 2 armchairs, a coffee table and a desk with broadband internet access. There's also a telephone with free calls to landlines within Europe and the USA!

A dinning table separates the kitchen area from the living area and modern stools seat 6 comfortably.


The kitchen has all the expected appliances including electric ceramc hobs, oven, dishwasher and washing machine.

The rest of the apartment continues the theme of simple uncluttered design.

The first bedroom (18ft x 11ft6, 5.5m x 3.5) has a double bed (5ft wide), 2 reading tables with lamps, ample cupboard space and a TV with cable.

The bathroom is spacious with a large washbasin, a bathtub with handheld shower and a loo.

The second bedroom/office (10ft3 x 9ft9, 3m x 3.1) is split into two floors with a mezzanine housing the bed (4ft6 wide). The ground floor has a sofa and a desk and a small wooden staircase takes you to the sleeping area.

All the local conveniences can be found at your doorstep including supermarkets, delicatessens and one of the best boulangeries in Paris on the rue de Lisbonne. If you are looking for a good traditional restaurant, try "le Vallois" on the Place de Rio de Janeiro. For good shopping a visit to the famous department stores on the boulevard Haussmann should not be missed.
