Situated in the fashionable Montorgueil area with its many restaurants, trendy cafés, clothes shops and theatres, this charming studio apartment occupies the ground floor of a 17th century town house built for Louis XIV's violin maker, Luthier, around 1670. rue Marie Stuart, a small marble cobble stoned street, is named after the former Queen of France better known as the tragic Mary Queen of Scots and is only a stones throw from the Place des Victoires, Opéra Garnier, Centre George Pompidou, the river Seine, the Louvre and the Marais. Your nearest métro stations, both 1 minutes walk, are Sentier and Etienne Marcel.

Located in a pedestrian area, this apartment is extremely calm and quiet. Completely renovated in 2003, the main living and sleeping area (30m2) has very high ceilings, 17th century stonewalls and beams, marble flooring throughout and has been tastefully decorated with antiques. There is a queen sized bed and leather sofa (a pullout bed with real mattress), a small wooden table with 3 chairs, a flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player (which can also be used to play CD's), aircon, and free high-speed broadband internet connection.

The open planned kitchenette has all the expected appliances including a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, fridge and toaster. There is no conventional oven or washer/dryer, however there is a launderette in the same street. The spacious modern bathroom has a bath + an overhead power shower.

Being in the largest pedestrian area in Europe you are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating, drinking or shopping. The rue Montorgueil, the oldest market street in Paris is at your doorstep. Try the wonderful French cuisine of La Dordogne or browse through some of the most fashionable clothes stores in Paris around rue Etienne Marcel and Place des Victoires.

Located in the first arrondissement, the most central district of Paris, this quality one bedroom penthouse apartment is within walking distance from many of the city's most important attractions including, the Centre George Pompidou, the Louvre, the River Seine, Isle St Louis and Notre Dame.


At your doorstep is one of Paris's largest shopping areas, Les Halles and the rue de Rivoli which boasts mile upon mile of food stores, fashion and designer boutiques, bistros and terraced cafés. It's within just a couple of minutes walk from 2 métro stations, Etienne Marcel and Les Halles with direct links to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.

The apartment is on the 6th floor (with lift) of a Hausman style building with wonderful views over Paris. It and was entirely renovated in 2005 with a tasteful mix of real antiques and modern comforts - including air-conditioning. It sleeps 3/4 people in a double bedroom + a sofa-bed in the living area.

The brand new open style kitchen has all expected appliances including Siemens microwave and cooking plates, washer dryer, coffee maker, small fridge and a beautiful granite work surface.

In this area you will be spoilt for choice whether it is for shopping or dining. Don't miss the famous rue Montorgueil market or the famous Marais district with its vibrant bars restaurants and Jewish area, both within a 5 minute walk.

Modern bohemians, the young and trendy, rich and poor, artists and designers, gays and straights, all throng the fashion boutiques, art galleries, theatres, restaurants, cafés and bars.

In the heart of the Marais, on the site of quarters of the Knights Templar, this spacious apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful 17th century aristocratic residence called "Hotel Moreau". It is attached to the famous Hotel des Ambassadeurs de Hollande and has a beautiful tree filled courtyard restored to a remarkably splendid state. The apartment was entirely renovated in 2003 and had been expertly decorated with a mix of old style with modern comforts - including air-conditioning.

You are just a short walk away from the famous Place des Vosges, the Pompidou Centre (museum of modern art), the Picasso museum and the Isle St Louis. The nearest métro is one block away at Hotel de Ville (Town Hall).

The accommodation sleeps 2/4 people in a large double bedroom and a large double sofa-bed in the living room.
