This newly renovated apartment is situated on the 6th floor (with lift) of a Haussemannien style building. It has been decorated to a high standard in contemporary style and offers a high level of comfort. It sleeps 6 in two double bedrooms and a fold out sofa-bed in the living area. There are two bathrooms.

The lift takes you to the 6th floor entrance. Once through the door, a small flight of stairs leads up the apartment proper.

The hallway, living area, kitchen and dining room have been designed as an open space which gives the apartment an spacious, light and airy feel. This area (960ft2, 90m2) is laid out in an L shape.

Arriving at the living area, you will find a large L shaped sofa which converts into a bed. This is a top of the range convertible sofa with a real mattress (1.60m wide) and, when the doors of the two bedrooms are shut, effectively gives the privacy of a third bedroom.

You will also find a flat screen TV with cable channels (CNN, BBC, CNBC etc.), wifi broadband internet (bring your own laptop), Apple TV, internet phone (free international landline calls) and an iPod player.

There is the added luxury of a working wood burning fireplace and a large collection of DVDs!

Behind the living area is the dining area with a large wooden dining table that comfortably seats 8.

The is also a breakfast bar where one can enjoy a drink whilst admiring the wonderful views across to the Pompidou Centre and St Eustache.

The kitchen is highly functional with all the expected appliances and more - a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and hobs, microwave, double dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and rice cooker.

There is also a large array of pots and pans for the most passionate chef! A washing machine and dryer can be found in a large cupboard located in the hallway.

The two bedrooms are located at either end of the apartment for optimum privacy. Both also have their own office space and en-suite bathrooms. Both have ceiling fans.

The main bedroom (23ft6 x 10ft4, 7.2m x 3.15m) is located just off the hall. It has a US queen size bed and lots of storage space.

The office space has a large desk and printer. The en-suite bathroom has "his and her" washbasins, a small bathtub with overhead shower and a loo.

There is also a small balcony overlooking the street and viewing the Eiffel Tower.

The second bedroom (17ft x 9ft3, 5.20m x 2.80m) offers a double bed (4ft6, 1.4m wide), a large hallway with cupboard space and an en-suite bathroom with power shower, washbasin and loo.

The pedestrian area around rue Montorgeuil has become one of the most sought after areas in Paris. As wall as a daily market, you will find a large array of cafés, bistros and restaurants.

Try out Little Italy on rue Montorgeuil for some amazing Italian cuisine or La Bourgogne on rue Mandar for some more traditional fare. You will be spoilt for choice!
