Many of the city's monuments are within walking distance including the River Seine, The Louvre, Musée d'Orsay and the Latin Quarter.

Situated on the 4th floor (with lift) the apartment has been decorated with taste and elegance offering a contemporary yet classic style. It is bright and airy, with has wooden parquet flooring throughout, and sleeps 5 people in a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a fold-away bed in a third room.

You enter the apartment into a small hallway which leads directly into the living area. Here you will find 2 comfortable double sofas, a wooden armoire, a small coffee table, several stools and a designer armchair. There's also a flat screen TV and an open gas fireplace which offers a great ambiance in the evening.

To the right of the entrance is the dining area, furnished with a wooden table and 5 chairs.

The kitchen is to the left of the entrance hall. It's modern and fully equipped with gas hob, oven, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster.

There is also a breakfast table that seats 4 comfortably.

Carrying on through you will come to the office area with a desk, a table, a wooden commode and high-speed broadband internet access.

This room can also be used as a third bedroom for a 5th person, with a fold out bed that is found in the second bedroom.

Large Parisian double doors lead from the office area to the main bedroom. This has a double bed (4ft7, 1.4m wide), 2 bedside reading lamps, an armchair and plenty of cupboard space.

The bathroom has a shower cabinet with overhead shower and a washbasin, it also separates the main bedroom from the twin bedroom - 2 single beds, an armchair and a small round table. A separate loo is located next to the kitchen.

The apartment is located in one of the most upmarket shopping areas of Paris. Indeed Le Bon Marché, one of Paris' most famous department stores is located right next door! Stroll down the rue de Rennes toward Montparnasse or explore the winding streets of St Germain with its designer shops. Stop for a coffee at the Café les Deux Magots, the Café des Flores or the Brasserie Lipp, all frequented by the writers of the "Lost Generation" of the 20s and 30s, and by the post World War II Existentialists.
