The area around the rue des Martyrs retains a village atmosphere away from the usual tourist routes, and boasts wonderful food markets, bistros, restaurants, boulangeries, wine shops and cafés offering a real taste of genuine Paris.

The apartment is a 2 minute walk away from métro Notre Dame de Lorette and only a short walk away from both Montmartre and the Grands Boulevards famous for their shopping and department stores. It sleeps 4 comfortably in one double bedroom and a double fold out sofa-bed in the living room.

Situated on the second floor (no lift), the apartment has been decorated in a modern, clean style with an abundance of white and with parquet floorboards throughout.

In the living area (16ft x 13ft9, 4.9m x 4.2m) you will find a wooden antique table with 2 chairs, a sofa chair, a comfortable "cushion" chair, a large fold out sofa bed, a decorative fire place, a flat screen TV and a high-speed internet connection.

In the kitchen there are all the expected appliances including oven, electric induction hobs, coffee maker, fridge/ freezer and kettle.

The bedroom (11ft6 x 10ft10, 3.50m x 3.30m) has a double bed (4ft7, 1.40m wide) and ample storage space. There is also a decorated Moroccan wood burning stove.

The bathroom has a bathtub with hand held shower, a basin and a washer/dryer. There's a separate loo off the hallway.

The rue des Martyrs is abuzz with Parisians doing what they enjoy best, food shopping! You will be hard pushed not to alight on a decent restaurant or café for a meal or a drink. Try the Italian cuisine of Fuxia and enjoy an elegant and convivial atmosphere, or the cosy intimate atmosphere of the Festivo with its young dynamic crowd.
