This newly renovated, beautifully decorated one bedroom apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the Marais. You are within walking distance of some of the cities greatest attractions including the Place des Vosges, the Pompidou Centre, Notre Dame, Isle St Louis and the River Seine. The nearest métro is only a 2 minute walk away at Hotel de Ville.

The Marais is one of the city's oldest and most famous areas boasting not only architectural beauty but also some of the best bars, cafés, bistros, restaurants, museums and theatres Paris has to offer.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (no lift) and sleeps 4 people comfortably in a double bedroom and a large fold out sofa bed in the living room. It was renovated in March 2006 and has been decorated with great care to a high standard, boasting quality modern comforts in old world surroundings. There are wooden floorboards throughout and 18th century wooden beams line the ceilings.

The main living, dining and kitchen area (21ft4 x 20ft, 6.50m x 6.10m) is open planned, giving a great feeling of space as well as being bright and airy. There is a double sofa which folds out into a double bed (4ft7 x 6ft3, 1.4m x 1.9m), a coffee table, two stools, a desk, a flat screen plasma TV with cable (English speaking CNN and BBC), a DVD player and high-speed broadband internet connection.

The wooden dining table seats 4 people and the large open planned kitchen is stylishly modern with all the expected appliances including a dishwasher, washer / dryer, induction hobs and oven as well as large beautifully designed wooden work surfaces.

A few steps down the entrance hall will take you to the double bedroom (12ft x 10ft8, 3.65m x 3.25m) here you will find a large double bed (6ft x 6ft3, 1.8m x 1.9m) and a large walk in wardrobe. Once again great care has been taken with the decoration.

The bathroom is en-suite and has "his and hers" wash basins, a bath tub and an overhead shower. A separate loo and basin can be found in the entrance hall.

Soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the Marais with its unique mix of cultures, the young and trendy, artists and writers. Enjoy a meal in one of the many Jewish restaurants of the rue des Rosiers, or shop till you drop on the rue Franc Bourgeois. Or if it all gets too much relax in the large sofas of the Loire dans la Théière whilst enjoying some of the best cakes, teas or hot chocolates Paris has to offer! Don't forget that the Marais is also one of the few or only area where the shops open on Sunday.
