The en-suit bathroom has a bath tub with hand held shower, basin, loo and the washer/dryer. There is also ample cupboard space between the bathroom and the bedroom.

A small flight of stairs takes you to the first floor where you will find the second double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, an office and a separate loo. Large Velux windows ensure the whole area is bright and airy.

The bedroom has a standard double bed (4ft7, 1.4m wide), 2 bedside tables with lamps, a large desk and plenty of cupboard space. The en-suite bathroom has a basin and a walk in shower cubicle with power shower.

Two additional people can be accommodated on two good put-away mattresses.

The office space has a large desk with PC and high speed broadband internet access - which you can also use with your own computer.

For fans of opera or dance, a visit to the nearby Opera Bastille cannot be missed. Beautifully designed by Carlos Ott, it is the larger of the two opera houses in Paris. Take the time to visit one of the many lively bars or restaurants on the rue Faubourg St Antoine or the rue de la Roquette, a magnet for anyone in the know.
