The bunk beds in children's room are suitable for ages from 3 to 12.

Nestled in the cobbled streets of Montmartre this two bedroom apartment has the advantage of having an outdoor space - a great rarity in Paris! Within 3 minutes of Abbesses and Blanche métro stations, the apartment looks onto the balconies of what used to be the lodges for the dancers of the Moulin Rouge.

It's ideal for 4 adults or a family with children wanting to enjoy the village atmosphere of Montmartre with its authentic charm, atmospheric restaurants, cafés, bars and artisan boutiques. You are only a five minute walk away from the Sacré Coeur and the wonderful views over Paris.

The apartment is on two floors and has been decorated in a modern warm style. It sleeps 4 adults, 2 in a double bedroom and 2 on a double fold-out sofa bed in the living room. In addition two children between the ages of 3 and 12 can be accommodated on bunk beds in the "children's room".

You enter the apartment via the garden area through large sliding French doors leading into a conservatory which houses the office and dining area (22ft x 6ft7, 6.7m x 2.0m). Here you will find a desk with chair, high-speed broadband internet connection, a large chest of drawers and a dining table that seats 6.

The gravelled garden area (375 sq ft, 35sq m) has a large round table and 4 chairs.

The living area (22ft x 11ft10, 6.70m x 3.60m) has two double sofas, one of which converts into a double bed (4ft7, 1.40m wide), a third small 2 seater sofa, a large coffee table, an armchair and a TV with cable channels (including English speaking CNN and BBC).

The open kitchen area has all the expected appliances including oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster as well as ample cupboard space.

The bathroom is compact but functional and has a raised bath with overhead shower. It has the extra advantage of a window which looks onto the garden for those that like to enjoy nature whilst taking a bath! There is also a basin and a loo.

A small flight of steps leads up to the main bedroom. Just below the staircase you will find a storage area with large cupboard space.

The main bedroom looks out onto a calm cobbled street. There is virtually no noise as good double glazing has been installed. There is a double bed (4ft7, 1.40m) and two reading tables with lamps.

Just next door is the children's room suitable for 2 children on a bunk bed. It should be noted that this room can only be used by children between the ages of 3 and 12 due to the size of the beds.

Montmartre has an abundance of atmospheric restaurants and cafés. However the locals will recommend La Famille (rue des Trios Frères) which serves a good mix of modern and traditional cuisine, or La Pamponette on rue des Abbesses, a century old restaurant still run by the same family which has remained a respected neighbourhood institution serving strictly traditional French food. If cinema is your thing you should visit Studio 28 on rue Tholozé, a charming local cinema offering mainly independent films in their original language - often English.

This is a No Smoking property.
